Elmer's Restaurants, Inc. is now the proud owner of Francis Xavier’s Restaurant on 181st & San Rafael (near Halsey) in Portland, OR. Francis Xavier’s was opened in 1999 by brothers Frank and Keith Gaudette, who both had previously worked for Elmer’s. All Francis Xavier’s team members were hired by Elmer's Restaurants, Inc. On April 26, 2017, Francis Xavier’s will be converted to an Elmer’s Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner.

In 2011, Elmer’s Restaurants joined the Children’s Cancer Association Hearts of Joy campaign. We were inspired by the work the CCA does to support and embrace local families with seriously ill children. The Hearts of Joy campaign is supported at our 10 Portland-area restaurants beginning in January and ending on Valentine’s Day. Through the generosity of our Guests and team members, along with our company match, we have raised $173,742 for the CCA in the last 7 years. We are proud to partner with Folds of Honor through the holiday season. For each seasonal entrée purchased at one of our participating restaurants through December 25th, we'll donate $1 to their local efforts. Folds of Honor stands in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation.
