Elmer’s Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner & Egg N’ Joe Restaurants are proud to partner with Folds of Honor to help provide educational scholarships to children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation. For each seasonal entrée purchased at our restaurants from November 4th through the end of the year, we’ll donate $1 to their local efforts. Seasonal entrees include Stuffed Hash Browns and Grilled Monte Cristo, as well as the Prime Rib Benedict at Elmer’s and the Canadian Bacon Omelet at Egg N’ Joe.
Folds of Honor stands in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war. Of the one million-plus dependents adversely affected by deployments, nearly nine out of 10 do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance. Since partnering in 2016, we have raised $90,196 for Folds of Honor which funded 18 scholarships benefitting military families in the communities we serve. Recipients like Ellie Ruble, a sophomore at Oregon State University is one of 2018’s recipients from Oregon. She is the daughter of retired U.S. Air Force Second Lieutenant Kevin Ruble, who served honorably during Operation Desert Storm.
“This is our way of saying thank you to our veterans and their families and honoring their sacrifices made for our freedom,” said Jerry Scott, President and CEO, Elmer’s Restaurants Inc. “We will continue supporting the Folds of Honor Foundation, our service members and their families in 2019 and beyond.”
